2005–06 DFB-Pokal (women)

The DFB Women's Cup in 2006 was won by 1 FFC Turbine Potsdam. The Brandenburg team won so the competition for the third time in a row and secured as of 2004, the Double. In the final they beat the first FFC Frankfurt 2-0. However, it did significantly heavier than in previous years.

For the first time in years, again reached the 2nd Bundesliga clubs (sand, Crailsheim and Saarbrücken) the quarter-finals. However, the trio was eliminated by high losses. In addition, for the first time were allowed to participate in the DFB Cup second teams no more. If a second team has won the Federation Cup moves to the losing finalist.

First round

The games took place on 7 August 2005. Three Favorites falls offered the first round. Jena and Wacker Munich lost their games against regional league. Once started, with hopes rise FC Gütersloh lost against relegation candidates Timmel.

2nd round

The games were held on 16 October 2005. In this round, the remaining Premier League clubs interfere with the events. Potsdam had against food - Beautiful Beck to penalties. Brauweiler could defeat the second division Wattenscheid after renewal.

Second round

The games were held on 6 November 2005. In the Topbegegnung to Duisburg prevailed after extra time against Bad Neuenahr. The first division Sindelfingen surprisingly lost against the second division Saarbrücken. Otherwise, the favorites prevailed.

Quarterfinals

The games took place on 4 December 2005.
