The 2005/06 season was the tenth season of the Super League. The league title secured for the second time Ak Bars Kazan, while Molot Perm - Prikamye descent into Wysschaja league.

Main Round
Mode
The 18 teams in the Super League first played in a common main round against each other, each team played 51 games season. The 16 best-placed teams qualified for the play- offs then, where the Master was played while the table last relegation to the second division. For a win within regular time each team received three points with a win in overtime two points with a tie after overtime, there was also a point like a defeat after overtime. For one defeat after regulation time gave no points.
