2005 CAF Champions League

The CAF Champions League 2005 began on 28 January 2005 with the first round and ended on 12 November 2005 with the final second leg between Étoile Sportive du Sahel of Tunisia and Al- Ahly of Egypt. The winner was Al -Ahly, who have won the return match in Sousse 3-0 after a 0-0 draw in the first leg. This was the fourth success of the club in the CAF Champions League.

A total of 52 teams from 40 state associations participated in the tournament.
