2005 Copa Libertadores
The Copa Libertadores 2005 due to the sponsorship of the automaker Toyota Toyota Libertadores Copa also was the 46th edition of the most important South American football competition for club teams. It was attended by 32 teams, with the number of participants was determined depending on the rank of the country in the CONMEBOL rankings. The participants completed titleholder CD Once Caldas. The tournament began on 15 February and ended on 14 July 2005 with the final second leg. The Brazilian representatives Sao Paulo won the final against Atlético Paranaense and for the third time the Copa Libertadores.
