2005 Copa Sudamericana

The Copa Sudamericana in 2005 was the fourth playout of the second most important South American football competition for club teams, which has acted under the name " Copa Nissan Sudamericana " due to the sponsorship of the car manufacturer Nissan. Mode

Compared to last year there have been some changes to the competition format. Excretion Paraguay / Uruguay

First round

The first legs were held on 23 August 2005, 9 and 16, the return games.

2nd round

The first leg was held on August 30, instead of the return match on September 6, 2005.

For the second round, the club Cerro Porteño from Paraguay Asunción qualified.

Excretion Colombia / Venezuela

First round

The first legs were held on 23 and 24 August 2005, 16 and 18, the return games.

2nd round

The first leg was held on August 30, instead of the return match on September 8, 2005.

For the last sixteen qualified Atletico Nacional Medellin in Colombia.

Second round

The first legs were from 13 to 21 September, the return matches from September 22 to October 5, 2005.

Quarterfinals
