2006–07 Ligue Magnus season

The 2006/07 season was the 85th season of the Ligue Magnus, the highest French Hockey League. Masters were for a fifth time in club history the Brûleurs de Loups de Grenoble. Anglet Hormadi Élite got down to the second division.

Mode

In the main round, the 14 teams completed 26 games each. The twelve best-placed teams qualified for the playoffs, where the Master was played, with the top four teams were set for the playoff quarterfinals. The two last placed the main round were to each other in the first round of relegation, the losers relegated directly to the second division, while the other team had to compete for the league against second- placed teams from the second division. For a victory after regular time and overtime, each team was given two points, a draw and one defeat after overtime there was a point and a defeat after regular time zero points.
