2006 Tennis Masters Cup
The Tennis Masters Cup in 2006 was held for the third time in Shanghai. It was the 37th edition of the competition altogether. The Tennis Masters Cup is next to the Grand Slam tournaments, the most important competition in the men's professional tennis and also the last major tournament in tennis years.
Roger Federer won this tournament for the third time in single, double won Jonas Bjorkman and Max Mirnyi. Mirny won the title for the first time, for Björkman it was the second double title at the Tennis Masters Cup.
