2006 Volta a Catalunya

The 86th Tour of Catalonia was a cycling stage race, which took place from 15 to 21 May 2006. The race was held over seven stages with a total length of 931.3 kilometers and belonged to the UCI ProTour 2006.

In addition to the 20 ProTour teams Spanish teams Comunidad Valenciana, Kaiku, Relax- GAM, Andalucía -Paul Versan and 3 Molinos Resort received a wildcard.
