2007–08 FIBA EuroCup

The FIBA EuroCup 2007/ 08 was the fifth staging of the run by FIBA Europe Euro Challenge and the last under the name EuroCup. In July 2008, the competition was renamed the Euro Challenge. The first group games of the regular season took place on December 11, 2007. The Final Four tournament ended on April 22, 2008 in Limassol with the victory of the Latvian Association Barons LMT.

Mode

The tournament began with two qualifying rounds. There was a group stage of four groups with four teams each. The group winners and runners- played in the quarter-finals, which was played in a best-of -three series. The semifinals, finals and 3rd place match took place as part of a Final Four tournament.

Qualification

First round

The first qualifying round were played on 30 October and 6 November 2007.

2nd round

The matches of the second qualifying round were played on 20 and 27 November 2007.

Participants in the main round

At the regular season of Euro Challenge participated 16 teams.

Group stage

The games of the first group stage took place between 21 December 2007 and 21 January 2008.

Quarterfinals

The quarter-final was played in a best-of -three series. The games were held until March 25, 2009 of 17.

Final Four

The Final Four took 18th to April 20th 2008 in the Spyros Kyprianou Athletic Centre in Limassol on Cyprus instead.
