2007–08 International Hockey League season
The 2007/08 season was the 17th regular season of the International Hockey League (until 1997 Colonial Hockey League, United Hockey League until 2007 ). The six teams completed in the regular season each 76 encounters. The point of best team in the regular season were the Fort Wayne Komets, who won the Turner Cup in the play-offs.

Team changes
The following changes were made before the start of the season:
- The Chicago Hounds stopped the game operation.
- The Elmira Jackals changed in the ECHL.
- The Port Huron Flags stopped the game operation.
- The Quad City Mallards were inactive.
- The Rockford IceHogs stopped the game operation and took over the previously inactive franchise of the Cincinnati Mighty Ducks, whereupon they also continued the operation of gambling in the American Hockey League under the name Rockford IceHogs.
- The Port Huron Icehawks were added as an expansion team in the league.
