2007 British Touring Car Championship season

The 50th British Touring Car Championship season began on 30 March 2007 at Brands Hatch and ended on 14 October at Thruxton. The season included ten race weekends on eight different tracks. At Brands Hatch and Thruxton Circuit two race weekends were held. At each race weekend, three races were conducted. Except for the race at the Knockhill Racing Circuit in Scotland all races took place in England.

In October 2005, Alan J. Gow had announced that the championship will be decided only by cars in 2007, corresponding to the FIA Super 2000 regulations. Cars that were built and operated by the BTC regulations, could continue to participate.

The Independents' Trophy won Colin Turkington with 285 points, ahead of Mat Jackson with 270 points and Mike Jordan with 260 points. The Manufacturers' Championship with 637 points just decided Vauxhall for take off SEAT with 623 points. The BTCC Teams ' Championship was won SEAT Sport UK with 446 points, ahead of VX Racing with 421 points and Team Halfords with 345 points for themselves. The Independent Teams ' Championship was awarded to Team RAC with 363 points, ahead of Jackson msport with 274 points and Team Eurotech Racing with 267 points.
