2007 Major League Baseball All-Star Game
The 78th MLB All- Star Game 2007 took place on July 10, 2007 at AT & T Park in San Francisco instead, the home of the San Francisco Giants. The actual All-Star Game was the highlight of All- Star Week from 06th - 10th July 2007. This traditionally clashed the All-Stars of the two professional leagues, the American League and National League. The team of the American League won 5-4.
For Barry Bonds, it was the 14th participation in this event. He was appointed as the only player of the home team San Francisco Giants in the selection. The All- Star Week, according to the World Series the most important baseball event in the USA.

Last Roster Square
Following the announcement of the roster, a second vote was held to award the respective last remaining space on the roster. Chris Young and Hideki Okajima were chosen as a player for the National League and American League in the All-Star team. For both it was the first nomination each in the All-Star team. It was the first time that only pitcher stood for election.
