(2007) McCuskey (1963 SQ; 1936 HP, 1941 SW1; 1943 EL, 1947 GE, 1951 LV; 1952 SB1; 1952 UR1, 1958 GB, 1963 TL, 1963 VC, 1965 CA, 1965 CC, 1966 OB, 1969 EC1; 1970 QD1; A921 EK ) is an asteroid of the main belt, which was on 22 September 1963 discovered at Goethe Link Observatory as part of the Indiana Asteroid Program, which was initiated by the U.S. astronomer Frank K. Edmondson.

Designation

The asteroid was named after Sidney McCuskey ( 1907-1979 ). He was 1959-1970 President of the Warner and Swasey Observatory.
