2007 NASCAR Busch Series

The NASCAR Busch Series 2007 season began on February 17 at Daytona International Speedway with the Orbitz 300 and ended on November 17 with the Ford 300 at Homestead -Miami Speedway.

The first race of the season took place at Daytona International Speedway in Daytona Beach, Florida on February 17, 2007.

Telcel - Motorola Mexico 200 - Mexico City, Mexico

The third race of the season took place at the Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez in Mexico City, Mexico on March 4, 2007. The Colombian Juan Pablo Montoya won his first NASCAR race. He is the first driver of South American origin, managed this. However, he fell on uncomfortable because he (# 41) turned a few laps to go, his teammates Scott Pruett with an aggressive maneuvers and so was the leader.

O'Reilly Challenge - Fort Worth, Texas

The 33.Rennen of the season, the O'Reilly Challenge, took place on November 3, 2007 at the Texas Motor Speedway in Fort Worth, Texas. With this race secured Carl Edwards Busch Series title in 2007. David Reutimann, who started from pole position and still a very small chance had to win the title, held in the initial phase in the top 3, but then fell due to a damaged tire back and ended the race with a lap behind. For Kevin Harvick was sixth victory of the season.

Ford 300 - Homestead, Florida

The Ford 300, the 35th and final race of the season took place at the Homestead -Miami Speedway in Homestead, Florida on November 17, 2007.

  • Winner: Jeff Burton
  • Most laps led: Kevin Harvick - 84
  • Race Length: 200 laps, 300 miles ( 482.80 km )

The championship in the drivers' championship was already decided before the race. The "Owner Points " classification (Auto Score ) was also almost decided. Jeff Burton, who drove the start number 29, just had to start the engine and thus officially participate in the race to secure the title. The only interesting points battle in the final race of the season was because only the top ten to take tenth place overall at the official award ceremony in December. Matt Kenseth and Mike Wallace to fight for this position. Approximately half of the race time, Kenseth, which earned him a round residue turned, but by good Strageterie and good luck, he managed to get back to the front and to finish the race in third place. That put Kenseth in tenth place in the overall standings.

Jeff Burton won for the fifth time in the 2007 season. Second was the winningest driver in the Nationwide Series, Mark Martin, who made one of his three starts for Hendrick Motorsports. The David started from pole - position Ragan turned on his last scheduled pit stop in the pit entry and finished the race in 33
