2007 Rugby World Cup Pool C

The group C of the Rugby Union World Cup in 2007 included the World Cup newcomer Portugal and Italy, New Zealand, Romania and Scotland. The group matches took place between the 8th and 30th of September.

Games

New Zealand - Italy

With a lightning start the New Zealanders underpinned early their role as favorites. Already after 20 minutes they led with 38:0 and then took the pace of the game, without losing control. But even then, the overmatched Italians were not able to put pressure on the New Zealand defense. In the second round to the audience offered the same picture. The All Blacks finally won with 76:14. Scotland - Portugal
