2007 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships
The 40th Artistic Gymnastics World Championships were held from 1 to 9 September 2007 in Baden- Württemberg's capital Stuttgart. These World Championships were of particular importance as direct qualification for the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing.

Competition
The competitions were held in Stuttgart's Hanns -Martin -Schleyer -Halle. As a training hall served the Porsche Arena in which took place the opening ceremony. In addition to the 24 best men's and women's teams of the World Gymnastics Championships in Aarhus in 2006 could start dressing up to 3 per individual starters.
