2008–09 LNAH season
The 2008/09 season was the 13th regular season of Ligue Nord - Americaine de Hockey (until 2003 Ligue de hockey semi- professionnelle de Québec; until 2004 Ligue de hockey senior majeur du Québec ). The nine teams should complete in the regular season per 44 encounters, but the game plan had to because of the premature, financially -related, leaving the Poutrelles Delta de Sainte -Marie to be changed. The point of best team in the regular season were the Lois Jeans de Pont- Rouge, which also for the first time, the Futura Coupe won in the play- offs.
Team changes
The following changes were made before the start of the season:
- The Mission de Sorel - Tracy stopped the game operation.
- The CIMT de Rivière -du -Loup were added as an expansion team in the league.
- The Poutrelles Delta de Sainte -Marie were added as an expansion team in the league and made even during the season, the game operation again.
- The Radio X de Québec were to Pont- Rouge, Quebec, moved and changed their name to Lois Jeans de Pont- Rouge.
- The Summum - Chiefs de Saint -Jean -sur -Richelieu were after Saguenay, Quebec, moved and changed their name to 98.3 FM de Saguenay.
- The Top Design de Saint- Hyacinthe changed their name to Chiefs de Saint- Hyacinthe.
