2008–09 Meistriliiga (ice hockey) season

The 2008/09 season was the 19th season of the Meistriliiga, the highest Estonian Hockey League. Masters were the Tallinn Stars.

Mode

In the main round of the regular four teams each completed 21 games, while the U20 national team ( Eesti Noortekoondis ) twelve games played as a guest team. The top four teams qualified for the playoffs, where the Master was played. For one victory after regulation time, each team received three points for a win after overtime two points, a draw and one defeat after overtime there was a point and a defeat after regular time zero points.
