2008–09 Superleague Greece
The Super League 2008 /09 was the third since the top division in Greece Super League is called. The season was held from April 26, 2009 of 31 August 2008. Olympiakos was champion Panathinaikos secured by the victory in the playoffs the second place in the Champions League.

Playoffs
The teams that find themselves at the end of the current Super League season in the squares Two to Five, playing in the so-called play-offs, a mini - elimination tournament to the European launch sites. The winner of the playoffs is safe to participate in the second qualifying round of the UEFA Champions League. The runner-up will qualify for the third and final qualifying round of the UEFA Cup, the third-place start in the UEFA Cup qualifying round two.
