2008 Korea Open Super Series
The Korea Open Super Series is the second tournament of the BWF Super Series 2008 badminton. It was held from 22 January to 27 January 2008 at Jangchung Gymnasium in Seoul. It was the 17th edition of the Korea Open. Main sponsor of the tournament was Yonex. 450 players from 28 countries participated in the tournament, which was broadcast by SBS Sports on TV.
In the men's final between Lin Dan and Lee Hyun- il there were violent quarrels between the Korean coach Li Mao and Lin Dan, as Lin Dan felt disadvantaged by many tight line Decide in favor of the opponent and complained to the referee.
