The Tashkent Open 2008 has been a hard court tennis tournament for women in Tashkent. It was a tournament of animal -IV category of the WTA Tour in 2008. The tournament took place from 29 September to 5 October 2008.

In individual Sorana Cîrstea defeated Sabine Lisicki 6-2, 4:6 and 7:64. In double Ioana Raluca Olaru the pairing / Olha Savchuk won with 5:7, 7:5 and 10:7 against Nina Brattschikowa / Kathrin Worle.
