2009–10 Kazakhstan Hockey Championship

The 2009/10 season was the 18th season of the Kazakh hockey professional league. The main session started with eight teams on 25 September 2009 and ended on 23 March 2010. Was followed by the playoffs, the winners of which HK Saryarka Karaganda first Kazakh champion.

Mode

In the main round the sides met eight times, whereby each team played 56 games.

For a victory in the regular time of 60 minutes, a team received three points, the losing opponent went away empty-handed. With wins in overtime or shootout one team got only two points, while the loser after all, still got a point.

Following the regular season followed by the playoffs, for which qualified the four highest point totals. The playoff round was played in best- of-five mode.
