2009–10 Polska Liga Hokejowa season

The 2009/10 season was the 75th season of the Polish Hockey League, the highest Polish Ice Hockey league. Champion for the 19th time in the club's history Podhale Nowy Targ. The THK Toruń dismounted in the second league.

Mode

First, the ten teams contested a common main round in which each team completed 18 games. The top six teams qualified for the final round, the participants all qualified for the playoffs, where the Master was played. The remaining four teams contested along with the best second division a qualifying round, the top two teams also qualified for the playoffs. The results from the main round were incorporated into the final round. The three last placed the qualifying round then had to compete for the league in the playoffs the second division. For one victory after regulation time, each team received three points for a win after overtime two points for a loss after overtime there was a point and a defeat after regular time zero points.
