2009 ABN AMRO World Tennis Tournament

The ABN AMRO World Tennis Tournament 2009 was a tennis tournament, which was held in Rotterdam from 9 to 15 February 2009. It was part of the ATP World Tour in 2009 and was held in the indoor hard courts. In the same week the Brasil Open was played in San Jose SAP Open as well as in Costa do Sauipe. These included, in contrast to the ABN AMRO World Tennis Tournament, which belonged to Category ATP World Tour 500, only to Category ATP World Tour 250

Defender of the individual Michaël Llodra was, however was eliminated in the second round already. In the final, Andy Murray sat against Rafael Nadal through in straight sets. In doubles, Tomáš Berdych and Dmitry Tursunov were no longer together to defend their title at but both played with another partner in the tournament. Winner in double Daniel Nestor and Nenad Zimonjic were that beat in straight sets in the final Lukáš Dlouhy and Leander Paes.
