2009 ATP Studena Croatia Open Umag

The ATP Studena Croatia Open 2009, a tennis tournament that to 2 August 2009 took place from July 27 in Umag. It was part of the ATP World Tour in 2009 and was discharged on clay court. In the same week the LA Tennis Open, and were played in Gstaad Allianz Suisse Open Gstaad in Los Angeles, which included just like the ATP Studena Croatia Open ATP World Tour 250 to category.

Defender of the single was Fernando Verdasco, who did not participate in this year's tournament. In this year's final of the top-seeded Russian Nikolay Davydenko defeated Juan Carlos Ferrero significantly in two sets 6:3 and 6:0. In double Michal Mertiňák and Petr Pála were the defending champions. They entered this year to no longer together. While Pála no longer participated in the tournament, Mertiňák won again with his new partner Frantisek Cermak the tournament. In the final they beat the pairing of Johan and Jean -Julien Rojer Brunström in two sets 6-4, 6-4.

The field of the individual competition consisted of 32 players, double that of the competition from 16 pairs.
