2009 German Athletics Championships

The 109 German Athletics Championships were held on July 4th and 5th, 2009 in Ulm Donau Stadium. Was hosted by the SSV Ulm 1846. The championships were 14,500 spectators at the first and 15,500 on the second day. Sebastian Bayer in the long jump to a championship record and a Weltjahresbestleistung. Verena Sailer won the 100 -meter run with a European Jahresbestleistung. Carolin Nytra won the 100m hurdles with a championship record.

The German champion in the 10,000 - meter race had been established on 2 May 2009 at the Weser Stadium in Bremen 11th place. The all-around championships were held between the 28th and 30th of August, 2009 Location.
