2009 Tour of Qatar

The 8th Tour of Qatar ( Tour of Qatar ) is a cycling stage race. It was for the men from 1st discharged until February 6. In addition, for the first time a race for women took place. This was held from 8th to 10th of February.

The Tour of Qatar is part of the UCI Asia Tour in 2008 and is classified in category 2.1. The bicycle race was held in six stages over a distance of 566.5 kilometers. During this tour, the Belgian driver Frederiek Nolf died. After the fourth stage, he was found dead in his hotel room.
