2010–11 KNVB Cup

The competition for the KNVB Cup the 2010/11 season was the 93rd edition of the competition for the KNVB beker called Dutch football cup Koninklijke Nederlandse Voetbal under the direction of Bond. The reigning champions FC Twente defeated in the final on May 8, 2011 at the Rotterdam Feyenoord Stadium the defending AFC Ajax despite a 0-2 residue with 3-2 after extra time.

Surprisingly, three teams from the top echelon arrived - two of them with victories over the first division Excelsior and Heracles Almelo - and with the VV Noordwijk Hoofdklasse an amateur team to the second round. Noordwijk could qualify it against third division Nijkerk even for the quarter-finals, in which one but the RKC Waalwijk subject.

All clubs from the professional football went into this round. Teams that were in a European cup competition, could not be drawn against each other. Amateur clubs had home advantage when they were drawn against a professional club.
