2010–11 Liga II

The League II 2010/11 was the 71st season of the second Romanian football league. It began on 28 August 2010 and ended on June 4, 2011. From early December 2010 to early March 2011, rested the game operation ( winter break ). Up in the League 1 were Piatra Neamţ Ceahlăul, CS Concordia Chiajna, Petrolul Ploiesti, CS Mioveni and CSU Sibiu vointa.

Mode

The League II was fought in two seasons with 16 teams. The two teams in every season were promoted to the Football League 1, while the three last-place teams had to stay in the League III. Second teams of first division club, clubs, which had been established less than three years, as well as associations with tax liabilities were not entitled to advancement. For a victory, there were three points, one for a draw and no points for a defeat. Case of a tie at the end of the season not the goal difference, but the direct comparison decided.

Because of the League 1 had to dismount five teams, play-offs were set to occupy the vacated space.
