2010 African Women's Football Championship qualification

23 African women's football teams were reported Qualifications of Africa Cup of Women 2010, one more than for the previous Africa Cup.

The qualification was held in two rounds in a knockout system with return game. In the first round, the 18 weaker nations should meet. Since retiring three teams, there were only six encounters. The winners and arrived without a fight in the second round with five other national teams identified the seven teams that have qualified conjunction with the host for the final round.

Preliminary round

The first legs were scheduled for the 6th and 7th, the return matches for the 19th, 20th and 21st March 2010.

First round

The first legs were attached the return matches on 5 and 6 June 2010 to 21, 22 and 23 May. The winners qualify alongside hosts South Africa for the African Cup of Women 2010.
