2010 Atlanta Tennis Championships

The Atlanta Tennis Championships 2010 were the first edition of a tennis tournament, which was held in Atlanta from 19th to 25th July 2010. It was part of the ATP World Tour in 2010 and was discharged on hard court. In the same week were played in Hamburg German Open Tennis Championship. However, the latter are contrary to the Atlanta Tennis Championships, which belong only to Category ATP World Tour 250 ATP World Tour 500 to Category

Winner of the first edition was Mardy Fish, who won the final against his compatriot John Isner in three sets. In the finals of the doubles competition, Scott Lipsky and Rajeev Ram prevailed over Rohan Bopanna and Kristof Vliegen.

The field of the individual competition consisted of 28 players, double that of the competition from 16 pairs. The four top-seeded player in singles each got a bye into the second round. The total prize money was $ 531,000, the total financial liabilities amounted to $ 600,000.
