2010 ATP World Tour Finals

The ATP World Tour Finals 2010, there were 21 to 28 November 2010 are as in the previous year in London at the O2 Arena on Hard Court instead. It was the 41st edition of the competition in singles, 35th in doubles. In addition to the four Grand Slam tournaments, the ATP World Tour Finals are the most important competition in the men's professional tennis, they are always held at the end of the season.

Defender of the single was Nikolay Davydenko, who could not qualify to participate this year. In doubles, the brothers Bob and Mike Bryan tried to defend their title from last year, but failed in the semifinals to the eventual tournament champions Daniel Nestor and Nenad Zimonjic, who beat in the final Mahesh Bhupathi and Max Mirnyi. In the singles final Roger Federer defeated his longtime rival Rafael Nadal. It was the first time since 1986 that the number 1 and number 2 in the world rankings faced with a Masters final (then Ivan Lendl and Boris Becker). Federer won the tournament for the fifth time and went with the previous title record holders Ivan Lendl and Pete Sampras same.

With Roger Federer ( 2003-04, 2006-07) and Novak Djokovic (2008) was attended by two former winners of the tournament at this year's host, David Ferrer was a finalist in 2007. With Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal took all the winners and with Andy Murray, Robin Soderling, Tomas Berdych and Novak Djokovic all other finalists of the Grand Slam tournaments of the current year portion. Berdych was both the only debutant of the event as well as the only player without a title win in 2010.

With Bob and Mike Bryan ( 2003-04, 2009) and Nestor / Zimonjic (2008) took two already victorious teams in the competition part. Nestor and Max Mirny had also already won the tournament with other partners. The Bryan brothers, Nestor / Zimonjic and Melzer / Petzschner all Grand Slam tournament winner of the year took part. The Wimbledon champion Melzer / Petzschner could in the world rankings while not classified among the best eight teams, but were due to the rule that Grand Slam winner may participate if they are still in the top 20 at the end of the year, yet qualified. With the Belgian Dick Norman together they were debutants at the event. The team Moodie / Norman was the only one without a title in this event.
