2010 Champions League Twenty20

The Champions League Twenty20 2010 was an international Twenty20 cricket competition, played between clubs from India, Australia, South Africa, Sri Lanka, New Zealand and the West Indies. It was the second staging of an event and took place between 10 and 26 September 2010 in South Africa instead. In the final, the Warriors from South Africa subject to the Chennai Super Kings of India with eight wickets.

Qualification

The participating teams had qualified through their national Twenty20 Championships, India has made it three participants, Australia and South Africa, two, New Zealand, Sri Lanka and the West Indies each one. England had participated earlier in the year sent in this issue no teams for the Champions League since the appointment with the domestic championships collided.

Venues

As a venue for the following four stages were selected in South Africa:

Preliminary round

The preliminary round was held from 10th - instead of September 22, 2010. The teams were divided into two groups of five teams. The respective best two teams of each group qualified for the semi-finals. In the tables, the following designations are used:
