2010 European Baseball Championship
The Baseball European Championship in 2010 was the 31 Baseball Championship. The final round took place from 23 July to 1 August 2010 in Stuttgart, Heidenheim an der Brenz and Neuenburg am Rhein instead. As defending champions the Netherlands occurred at the European Championships.
The top four teams in the 2010 European Baseball qualified directly for the Baseball World Cup 2011.

Venues
With the Baseball Championship 2010 Baseball European Championship in Germany took place for the fourth time after 1957, 1969 and 2001. After the last discharged in Germany European Championship with the host cities of Bonn, Cologne and Solingen took place in the western part of Germany, the European Championship was awarded in 2010 to southern Germany with the original venues Stuttgart, Heidenheim and Tübingen. Later Tübingen was replaced by Neuchâtel.
Venues during the final round were the " Reds Ballpark at Schnarrenberg " the Stuttgart Reds, "New Heideköpfe ballpark " of the German Baseball Champion 2009 Heidenheim Heideköpfe and the " Atomics baseball park " the Neuenburg Atomics.
The temporarily spiked stadium in Stuttgart was the main venue where daily three games, while the main round were two games played daily during the first round. In Heidenheim an der Brenz were during the preliminary round daily two games while the main round played a game every day. In Neuenburg a game took place daily during the first round.
Participant
Twelve teams have qualified for the 30 Baseball Championship. The top seven teams in the 2007 European Championship qualified automatically, including the German Baseball national team, which reached the fourth place in 2007. 2008, five qualifying tournaments were held, the winners of the ticket redeemed for EM: Belgium, Croatia, Czech Republic, Greece and Ukraine. Here Austria was second and Switzerland in third place in Group 5 behind Belgium.
