2010 MercedesCup
The MercedesCup 2010 was a tennis tournament, which until July 18, 2010 took place from 12th in Stuttgart. It was part of the ATP World Tour in 2010 and was discharged on clay court. In the same week the SkiStar Swedish Open played in Båstad, who scored just like the MercedesCup to Category ATP World Tour 250.
Defender of the individual Jérémy Chardy was, who retired earlier this year in the first round. The winner was Albert Montanes, who defeated Gaël Monfils in the finals, who had to give up the game due to injury. For Montanes it was the second title this year and his fifth title overall on the ATP Tour. In double František Cermak and Michal Mertiňák were the defending champions, but they were not together in this year. While Cermak did not participate in the tournament, managed Mertiňák with Johan Brunström in the quarter-finals, where they lost to eventual tournament winners Carlos Berlocq and Eduardo Schwank. This won the doubles final against the German duo Christopher Kas and Philipp Petzschner in straight sets.
The field of the individual competition consisted of 32 players, double that of the competition from 16 pairs. The four top-seeded player in singles each got a bye into the second round.
