2010 National League Championship Series

The National League Championship Series 2010 ( NLCS ) took place between 16 and 23 October 2010 and was the second round of the postseason in Major League Baseball in 2010. In it, the winner of the National League Division Series were 2010 Philadelphia Phillies (winner of the Eastern Division ) and San Francisco Giants (winner of the Western Division ) against each other to determine the representative of the National League in the World Series in 2010. Winners were the San Francisco Giants with 4-2 victories. As a Most Valuable Player Cody Ross (Giants ) was excellent.

Mode and participants

It is a best- of-seven series in which the Phillies have Home Field Advantage, as they have in the regular season won more games than the Giants. The games 1 and 2 were therefore held at Citizens Bank Park in Philadelphia. The Games 3, 4 and 5 were then at AT & T Park in San Francisco.
