2010 Proton Malaysian Open

Proton Malaysia Open took place until October 3, 2010 in Kuala Lumpur on September 27. They were part of the ATP World Tour 250 2010. Simultaneously, the Thailand Open in Bangkok were played in 2010, which also count for the ATP World Tour 250.

Defender of the single was Nikolay Davydenko, but he already retired from in the second round. Mikhail Youzhny was winner, who won the final against Andrei Golubev. In double Mariusz Fyrstenberg and Marcin Matkowski were the defending champions, but they lost in this year's final against Frantisek Cermak and Michal Mertiňák.

The field of individual petition consisted of 28 players ( the four top-seeded players received a bye in the first round ), double that of the petition of 16 pairs.
