2011–12 Basketball Bundesliga
The 2011/12 season is the 46th season of the National Basketball League of men. The main round began on October 3, 2011 and ended on 28 April 2012 with the 34th and final day. In the playoff finals, the Brose Baskets Bamberg defeated the team of ratiopharm ulm 3-0 and, secured their third championship in a row ( equivalent to the third league and cup double in a row).

Note: ratiopharm ulm denied the first three season games in the Cow Mountain Hall ( 3,000 seats) and then moved into the new ratiopharm arena ( 6,000 seats). The polar bears Bremerhaven played a game in the ÖVB Arena (10,000 seats).
