2011–12 Four Hills Tournament
The 60th Four Hills Tournament 2011/12 was as part of the Ski Jumping World Cup 2011/2012 organized by the FIS between 28 December 2011 and 6 January 2012 series of ski jumping competitions. The overall competition was won by Gregor Schlierenzauer, so an Austrian ski jumper was successful for the fourth time in a row after Wolfgang Loitzl (2008/ 09 ), Andreas Kofler (2009/10 ) and Thomas Morgenstern (2010 /11). Overall, it was the 13th tour - total victory for Austria.

Before the Four Hills Tournament seven individual competition had already been completed in the World Cup. The season began in November 2011 in Kuusamo.

The opening event of the 60th Four Hills Tournament in Oberstdorf took place on 30 December 2011. The first round was restarted due to heavy snowfall and changing conditions by jury decision. Until then, the Japanese Daiki Ito led with 138.0 meters in front of the German and Austrian favorites.

The daily winners each received 10,000 Swiss francs ( about 8,200 € ), the overall winner Gregor Schlierenzauer also received 20,000 Swiss francs (about € 16,400 ).
For the first time, the organizers a bonus of 1 million Swiss francs (about € 820,000 ) have awarded for the winner of all four competitions. As the only athlete that is good up until this point Sven Hanna forest at the Four Hills Tournament 2001/ 02; that time without premium.
