2011–12 Liga I

The League 1 2011/12 was the 74th season in the history of the highest Romanian football league. It began on July 22, 2011 and ended on 21 May 2012. Between mid- December to end of February rested the game operation ( winter break ). Champion for the third time the CFR Cluj. Were relegated FCM Targu Mures, CSU Sibiu vointa, Sportul Studenţesc and CS Mioveni.

Regulate

The League 1 played with 18 teams. Subject to the withdrawal of licenses from other teams got four last-place teams from the Liga II, ascended from the four teams ( the top two from each of the two seasons ). For a victory, there were three points for a draw and one point for a loss no points. If two or more teams finish the season were tied, decided not goal difference, but a direct comparison.
