2011–12 Ligue Magnus season
The 2011/12 season was the 90th season of the Ligue Magnus, the highest French Hockey League. The championship won by the Dragons de Rouen, the Brûleurs de Loups de Grenoble defeated in the playoff final with 4:2 and thus defended their title from last year. The Bisons de Neuilly -sur -Marne alighted at the Division 1.

Mode
In the main round, the 14 teams to complete each 26 games. The twelve best-placed teams qualify for the playoffs, where the champion is played, with the top four teams are set for the playoff quarterfinals. The two last placed the main round kick each other in the relegation whose loser descends directly to the second division. For a victory after regular time and overtime, each team receives two points for a loss after overtime there is a point and a defeat after regular time zero points.
