2011–12 Montenegrin First League

The Prva Crnogorska League 2011/12 was the sixth season of the highest Montenegrin Football League. The season started on August 6, 2011 and ended on 30 May 2012 with the 33rd and final round.

FK Mogren Budva defending champion could not repeat last year's success; the title was won by FK Budućnost Podgorica.

Clubs

The last place in the preseason OFK Bar rose after just one season back in the second highest league from, and was replaced by the local champions FK Bokelj Kotor, which could return to the top flight after a three year absence.

Last year's tenth- and elfplatzierten clubs FK Mornar Bar and FK Sutjeska Nikšić played in the relegation against the second-and third-placed teams FK Jedinstvo Bijelo Polje and FK Berane the second division. After each one return game Berane and Sutjeska stood firm as a participant in the Prva Crnogorska Liga 2011 /12.

The encounter between the FK Decic Tuzi and the FK Berane 18 games was criminal verified 3-0. In addition, the FK Berane was deducted a point in the current season. Final standings after 33 rounds at 30 May 2012

Play off

The the end of the regular season and tenth- elftplatzierten teams played in a round-trip game against the third - and second-placed teams from the second division to avoid relegation. The games were held on the 3rd and 7th of June. Both Erstligateams lost the playoffs and had to dismount.
