2011–12 Premier League

The Premier League 2011/12 was the 20th season of the English Premier League and at the same time the 113th Erstligasaison in English football. It started on August 13, 2011 and ended on 13 May 2012. Defending champions from the previous season 2010/11 was Manchester United. With newly promoted Swansea City for the first time took part in a Welsh team in the Premier League.

With a 3-2 win against Queens Park Rangers on the final day Manchester City won its first league title in the Premier League before the point same city rivals Manchester United.
