2011 Aegon Championships

The AEGON Championships 2011 were a tennis tournament which took place from 6th to 13th June 2011 at London's Queen 's Club. It was part of the ATP World Tour 2011. During the same week the Gerry Weber Open in Halle were played that counted just like the AEGON Championships to Category ATP World Tour 250.

Defender of the single was Sam Querrey, who retired this time in the second round. In this year's final, which was played only a day late due to heavy rainfall, defeated Jo -Wilfried Tsonga, who had the world number one Rafael Nadal defeated local hero Andy Murray. This was Murray's first ATP title of the season and after 2009 his second triumph at Queen 's Club. Biggest surprise of the tournament was launched with a wildcard James Ward, the world number 216. could advance to the semifinals, while two top 30 players defeated. In Novak Djokovic and Jonathan Erlich double came not to defend their title. This year, the top-seeded Bryan brothers won the final against Mahesh Bhupathi and Leander Paes. So that the twins could win for the fourth time at the Queen's Club and stopped the Open Era record of Todd Woodbridge and Mark Woodforde.

The field of individual petition consisted of 56 players, double that of the petition of 24 pairs. The top-seeded player in singles or 8 pairs in double each got a bye into the second round.
