2011 Aircel Chennai Open

The Aircel Chennai Open 2011, a tennis tournament, which was held in Chennai from 3rd to 9th January 2011. It was part of the ATP World Tour in 2011 and was discharged on hard court. In the same week were in Doha Qatar ExxonMobil Open 2011 and played in Brisbane the Brisbane International 2011, the count just like the Aircel Chennai Open to Category ATP World Tour 250.

Defender of the single was Marin Cilic, who, however, resigned earlier this year in the first round. It won Stanislas Wawrinka, who had been defeated in the last year or in the final. In a double Marcel Granollers and Santiago Ventura were the defending champions, but they were not on this year. Winners were the local heroes Mahesh Bhupathi and Leander Paes, who had already won the tournament four times between 1997 and 2001, and won their first title together since 2004 after a long break.

The field of individual petition consisted of 32 players, double that of the petition of 16 pairs.
