2011 Atlanta Tennis Championships

The Atlanta Tennis Championships 2011 a tennis tournament which takes place in Atlanta from 18 to 24 July 2011. It is part of the ATP World Tour 2011 and is played on hard courts. In the same week the bet-at -home Open German Tennis Championships will be played in Hamburg. However, the latter are contrary to the Atlanta Tennis Championships, which belong only to Category ATP World Tour 250 ATP World Tour 500 to Category

In the singles defending champion Mardy Fish met in a repeat of last year's final to John Isner and could once again take the title. This was Fish's first season and sixth career title. In doubles, Scott Lipsky and Rajeev Ram came to defend their title, but they divorced in the first round. In this year's final, Alex Bogomolov Jr. and Matthew Ebden prevailed against Matthias Bachinger and Frank Moser; the victory in Atlanta is the first joint title of the duo, for Bogomolov it was the first ATP title, Ebden celebrated his second season, and career title after his debut title in Newport two weeks earlier.

The field of individual petition consisted of 28 players, double that of the petition of 16 pairs. The four top-seeded player in singles each got a bye into the second round.
