The Elftplatzierte FK Vitebsk played after the regular season two relegation matches against the runners-up Partizan Minsk the Perschaja Liha. The games were held on the 1st and 4th of December. Partizan Minsk finally sat down 2-0 and 1-2 against Vitebsk by and ascended to the first division. However, the club had to withdraw due to financial difficulties before the season started and played in 2012 only mediocre, while the Wyschejschaja Liha 2012 was exceptionally discharged with only eleven teams.
