2011 Brasil Open

The Brasil Open 2011 was a tennis tournament, which took place in Costa do Sauipe from 7 to 13 February 2011. It was part of the ATP World Tour in 2011 and was discharged on clay court. In the same week were in Rotterdam, the ABN AMRO World Tennis Tournament and played in the San Jose SAP Open. The latter included just like the Brasil Open to Category ATP World Tour 250, while the ABN AMRO World Tennis Tournament belonged to Category ATP World Tour 500.

Defender of the individual was Juan Carlos Ferrero, who this year due to injury could not compete. In the doubles were Pablo Cuevas and Marcel Granollers, the defending champions, but they were not together in this year. The individual competition was Nicolás Almagro win in the finals he defeated the Ukrainian Alexander Dolgopolov, this is after 2008, his second title in Costa do Sauipe. The double were won by the Brazilians Marcelo Melo and Bruno Soares in the final they defeated the Spanish pair Pablo Andujar and Daniel Gimeno -Traver. For Melo, this was the second, Soares for the first title in Costa do Sauipe.

The field of individual petition consisted of 28 players, double that of the petition of 16 pairs. The four top-seeded player in singles each got a bye into the second round.
