2011 Gerry Weber Open

The Gerry Weber Open 2011 was a tennis tournament, which took place in Hall from 6 to 12 June 2011. It was part of the ATP World Tour 2011. During the same week 's Club the AEGON Championships were played at London's Queen, who scored just like the Gerry Weber Open to Category ATP World Tour 250.

Winners in the individual was Philipp Kohlschreiber, who beat the defending champion Lleyton Hewitt in the quarterfinals. In an all- German final, he benefited from the task Philipp Petzschners and thus won his third ATP title. It was his first triumph in Halle, after he had lost in 2008 at the same place in the final against Roger Federer, who had his participation in 2011 due to injury canceled. At the same time it was the first ATP title for a German player since the victory of Benjamin Becker in 's- Hertogenbosch almost two years earlier.
