2011 International German Open

Bet- at-home Open German Tennis Championships 2011 were a tennis tournament which took place in Hamburg from 18 to 24 July 2011. It was part of the ATP World Tour in 2011 and was discharged on clay court. In the same week the Atlanta Tennis Championships were played in Atlanta. These included, in contrast to the bet-at -home Open German Tennis Championships, which belonged to Category ATP World Tour 500, only to Category ATP World Tour 250

Defender of the single was Andrei Golubev, but he already retired from in the first round. In this year's Finals Gilles Simon defeated Spaniard Nicolás Almagro to, this was Simon's second season and ninth career title. In doubles, Marc López and David Marrero came to defend their title, but they also failed in round one. This year, Frantisek Cermak and Filip Polášek defeated in the finals the duo Oliver Marach / Alexander Peya. The victory in Hamburg is the first joint title of the two; for Marach it is the second season and tenth career title, Peya won for the first time at an ATP tournament.

The field of individual petition consisted of 48 players, double that of the petition of 16 pairs. The 16 top-seeded player in singles each got a bye into the second round.
